Prosecutors in Manhattan urged the court on Tuesday to “reject” US President-elect Donald Trump’s latest attempt to throw out his civil fraud conviction for hiding payments made to a porn star during his 2016 presidential campaign, but agreed to put the case on hold to avoid it interfering with Trump’s second term.
