Nani’s HIT 3 crossed US $ 100,000 mark for premiere shows in USA – The Times of India

Natural Star Nani’s upcoming thriller HIT 3 is building solid momentum in the USA as advance bookings for its premiere shows continue to trend impressively. With seven days to go before its grand premiere, the film has already raked in $115,000 ( Rs 98 lakh) from almost 6000 tickets sold across 300 locations and 789 shows — a significant jump from its earlier tally of $64,227 just three days ago.

The sharp uptick in advance sales signals a positive pre-release buzz for the third installment of the HIT franchise. Known for its gripping narrative and taut screenplay, the HIT series has steadily gained a loyal following, and with Nani stepping into the franchise has set the expectations riding high.
Trade analysts in the US circuit point out that the current advance trends are highly encouraging, especially considering the film’s break-even target in the USA alone stands at a steep $2.3 million, factoring in its extensive release scale and promotional costs. Given the pace at which tickets are moving and the increase in show counts, HIT 3 seems well on track to register one of the better opening weekends for a Telugu thriller in recent times.
With a week left for its premiere, industry insiders are optimistic about HIT 3 crossing the $200K mark in advance bookings by mid-week. If the current trajectory holds, the film is poised for a solid premiere day haul, which will be crucial in helping it inch closer to its ambitious break-even mark.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Nani shared that the idea for the franchise is to have that one moment where all the actors who have been part of the previous installments coming together to have an Avenger style finale for the series. He also shared that one might get to see a glimpse of HIT 4 in the third part.
Nani not only lead the film but is also the producer of the HIT franchise and his last release as a producer Court: State VS A Nobody crossed Us $ 1 million in North Ameirca- showcasing his grip over content and his distribution muscle. Post HIT 3, Nani would be teaming up with Srikanth Odela for Paradise and he also has a film lined up with Sujeeth who last directed Saaho for Prabhas. He also has a film lined up as a producer with Superstar Chiranjeevi which will be directed by Srikanth Odela.
