Giant balloons, fairground rides and stunts: festival ‘coming soon’ to Oxfordshire

Balloons & Tunes UK made an announcement that the Oxfordshire Balloon Festival will be “coming soon”.

The company, which delivers events across the UK including hot air balloon shows, fairground rides, and live music performances, has hosted in 11 counties this year, including nearby Berkshire.

In the announcement, Balloons & Tunes said: “We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Oxfordshire Balloon Festival, an event that promises to captivate and inspire attendees of all ages.

“Stay tuned for more details about this incredible event, including the venue and dates. We are working tirelessly to bring you a festival that will leave you in awe and create memories that will last a lifetime.”

Organisers hinted that the event would include giant balloon launches and displays, activities and entertainment, performances, and food and drink vendors.

They added: “We are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, and we will be working closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and guidelines.”

The Berkshire festival is due to take place at Newbury Showground in Thatcham from June 20 to 22.

It will include tribute act musical performances, a Night Glow and balloon launch display, a funfair, stunt shows, food traders and bars, a children’s party stage and live animal show, and a firework display to end the night.
